The Stone Alligator gets its name from the fact that it is light grey in colour and lives in the Himilayas with other highland animals. Even though the stone alligator preys on fish, it doesn't necesarily need very much water in its habitat. Weighing in at 1/2 a tonne, it reaches a maximum length of about 15 feet. The stone alligator only mates about twice in its lifetime and has clutch of about 2 eggs at a time! Thus making it an endangered species. It really enjoys being in captivity, as it feels a certain sense of security that may improve its breeding habits so it can maybe, one day make it off the endangered species list!
